Job Description – Account Manager

Position Overview:

Siemens is currently looking for a sales professional with experience selling automation, electrical power solutions, and industrial services to End Users and OEMs. This position will be located in Milwaukee Area. This is an outstanding opportunity for an individual to join a strong team selling the industries best products in a high growth market.


The top candidate will be responsible to penetrate and grow industrial accounts which include industrial end users and OEM accounts in the Milwaukee Area. This person will also have responsibility for working with the distribution channel to grow business within their territory. It is expected that they will work closely with various business units, vertical market groups, and other Siemens sales organizations. It is required that this person will lead the development and execution of strategic account plans to ensure the achievement of assigned business goals Primary sales focus will be on automation, AC control, circuit protection, variable frequency drives, switchgear, and industrial services.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience selling in the industrial or electrical automation field.

  • Proven sales track record.

  • Strong experience selling Automation, drives, MCC’s, switchgear, industrial services and controls technology to OEMs and large end users.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Self-starter and ability to work both independently and in team environments

  • Strategic selling skills as well as the ability to engage in high level relationships with customers.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • BS Electrical engineering degree highly preferred

  • Experience in selling to OEMS and End Users highly desirable

PLEASE NOTE: Individual must possess a valid Driver’s license in good standing

Individual must be at least 21 years of age in order to participate in the required Siemens vehicle plan
