SEEKING AN INDUSTRIAL TECHNICIAN FOR THE SWSS MENTOR FACILITY
- Disassembly & Assembly of motors and machine tool spindles
- Use oscilloscope to set up encoder systems of motors and spindles units
- Perform electrical set up of analog and proximity sensors.
- Test run and commissioning of motors and spindle units with Siemens 611 and S120 drives
- Use vibration measuring equipment to balance motor and spindle units
- Perform initial inspections on incoming motors and spindle units
- Disassembly and cleaning of motors and spindle units
SHOULD HAVE EXPERIENCE IN:
- Electrical motors
- Reading mechanical drawings
- Basic hands on electrical and mechanical skills
