Position Overview:

We are currently seeking to hire a Manufacturing Engineer at our Marion, KY facility to provide support and maintenance for all routings within the facility and troubleshoot any operational problems regarding electrical components that may occur. Primary responsibilities are to maintain existing test equipment, provide electrical/mechanical safety advise, and procure necessary materials.

Responsibilities include:

• Work with Engineers and Coordinators to affect changes to wiring diagrams

• Create materials and presentations and instruct on topics related to:

o Nomenclature and print reading

o Basic electrical concepts

o Construction and wiring techniques

o Safety

o Aerial Work Platform certification training (ISP-11)

• Design (electrical and mechanical), order materials and build special projects

• Design, order materials and make new test equipment for various production lines

• Advise in many aspects of the business such as:

o Electrical/Electronics Engineering

o Mechanical Design – Autocad, Visio

o Electro/Mechanical Design – Relays, magnetic, etc.

o AC & DC Motors and Motor Controllers/Drives

o General Control System design

o Digital Fundamentals & PLC designs and programming

o Automated assembly equipment

o Welding and machining

o Hydraulics and pneumatics

o Process control technologies

o Quality Assurance and Management

o Manufacturing and Assembly processes

o Project Management and Planning

Required Knowledge/Skills/Education:

• Must have Bachelors degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.

• Experience with SAP preferred.

• Experience in fast paced manufacturing environment.

• Prefer experience in both electrical in mechanical engineering.

• Able to read/understand wiring schematics

• Able to translate material requirements from wiring schematics

• Good communication skills (Will work directly with our customers and all levels of the business)

• Excellent organizational skills required

• Able to multi-task and prioritize work effectively
