Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

In this position you will lead finance business activities in Healthineers business field Population Health Management (PHM).

These tasks include:

  • General tasks and responsibilities

  • Leads the analysis of financial results to determine accuracy and completeness of information.

  • Designs various financial reports

  • Leads review discussions with senior management for short term and long term financial plans and budgets

  • Ensures compliance with budget allocations

  • Leads discussions of financial analysis at the most complex levels including rate of return, depreciation, working capital, investments, budgeting, and financial and expense performance comparisons

  • Leads conformance to IFRS requirements

  • Leads commercial/contract activities, pricing, margin calculations, etc. of software driven business models

  • Drives alignment of short term and long term goals between Regional Units and Business Line Headquarters

  • M&A Support

  • Drives input in applications for and approval of capital investments (M&A)

  • Leads financial assessment and alignment with Siemens’ strategy as well as develop long term business plans for potential capital investments

  • Post-Merger Support

  • Leads financial activities in post-merger integrations

  • Leads finance assessment and input in new software offerings such as SaaS, subscription models, hosted solutions etc.

  • Leads finance input in post-merger tracking and controlling of capital investments against operational and strategic targets

  • Ensures cross functional communication and interaction with non-financial work streams for successful integration and implementation of appropriate business processes


BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification may be required in some areas. Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience.

Demonstrates extensive knowledge in field of specialization or multiple disciplines to the successful completion of complex assignments. Successfully serves as point of authority and/or source of technical/scientific knowledge for area of expertise. Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of organization's business practices and issues faced and contributes to problem resolution of those issues.

Strong strategic and process implementation capabilities with entrepreneurial mindset and efficiency.

Preferably experienced in a software driven environment to implement new and further develop existing software business models and offerings.

Typically 10+ years of successful experience in related fields and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.

Working Relationships/Direction of Others

Acts as advisor to senior management and business partners on advanced technical matters.

Develops team members through mentoring and coaching in complex subjects.
