Job Description:

Position Overview

Reporting to the Branch General Manager, this position is the overall management position for Service Operations. The role manages the strategic and tactical activities for all service agreements and service project customers. . This position is responsible for the service businesses in the Denver and Colorado Springs markets and oversees all aspects for the Building Automation, Fire and Security service disciplines.


  • Plan and direct all Service Operations activities for Denver and Colorado Springs to achieve business goals.

  • Ensure superior account management including sales (by operations personnel), customer satisfaction and other business goals. Manage the Service business in conjunction with SBT partners to ensure support for customer business strategies. Implement national operations programs, Top+ and other best practice plans/programs.

  • Conduct financial analysis including forecasting, estimating, monitoring, and recovery planning. Develop and implement strategies (e.g. business growth, asset management, cost reduction, customer satisfaction, employee productivity) to achieve business goals. Collaborate with service sales employees to create effective service plans and programs for the local market and/or specific customers as needed.

  • Monitor sales activities, Service agreement bookings, renewal and escalations, service projects and service T&M work. Provide coaching to service sales employees to facilitate their success. Motivate employees to achieve customer and company performance goals. Perform employee management responsibilities such as hiring, training, conducting performance reviews, supporting employee development, and following up on resolving employee related issues in a timely manner.

  • Provide input and adhere to budget. Lead or provide direction for resource allocation issues. Advise branch sales, operations management, and area management of financial indicators and specific situations as needed. Ensure the proper implementation of all company policies and procedures. Maintain current knowledge of regulatory laws, changes and requirements and ensure compliance. Advise and implement industry/field best practices to improve products, applications and services.

  • Represents Siemens in industry associations, professional organizations and affiliations and develops relationships with customer, contractors and community leaders

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

· High School Diploma/GED required. Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred (management, engineering, etc).

· 7+ yrs experience in sales, service operations, or installation and maintenance of building automation / HVAC controls systems or fire & security systems with a minimum of five years experience in branch or regional operations supervision or management.

· Ability to proactively implement organizational and process change in response to business needs. Proven record of influencing and achieving favorable executive level buying decisions. Strong listening, negotiation, planning, organizational, and verbal / written communication skills required.

· Individual must possess a valid Driver's license in good standing in order to participate in the required Siemens vehicle plan.
