Job Description:

Solutions Architect – Must be located in Boston, MA or be willing to relocate there

Responsible for providing customers with tailored software solutions with regards to the QMS Professional product relating to product quality software based on a combined delivery model of project execution and the software development lifecycle. Duties include: analysis of customer business process requirements, creation of as-is and to-be software solution models using the Siemens QMS Pro portfolio solution, transform software solution models via software configuration and customization into the required software solution, verify and validate customer business process requirements have been accurately reflected in the software solution. Specifically, creation of the QMS Professional implementation plan, execute computer-aided quality management (CAQ) and manufacturing execution systems (MES) implementations using QMS Professional, and implement interfaces between enterprise resource planning (ERP), production lifecycle management (PLM) systems and QMS Professional. Guide customers through the implementation process and roll out of business solutions, ensuring that knowledge is shared within the company.

Minimum Requirements:

Must currently be located in Boston area or be willing to relocate there.

Master or Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Automotive, Manufacturing, Industrial, Chemical or Process), or in Business Information Systems.

At least 5 years’ experience in software configuration, installation and support.

Subject matter expertise and project execution to include the following: at least 3 years’ progressive experience with the QMS Professional quality system regarding its software configuration, installation and technical support including database, and understanding of quality management concepts.

At least 1 year’ progressive experience with MOM manufacturing and execution system (MES) regarding its software configuration, installation and technical support including database, and understanding of production management concepts, especially for automotive, aerospace and defense and discrete manufacturing.

Preferred Requirements:

At least 1 year’ experience with the MOM traceability solution in its specification, configuration, and implementation.

Prior hands-on experience with QMS software

Have at least 6 months’ progressive experience in project execution and exposure to sales engineering for enterprise software solutions, whether in quality management, commercial operations solutions, or similar, leaning towards technical leadership.
