This role is based out of Las Vegas, NV, but will include approximately 10% travel to visit our suppliers and partners throughout the projects you will support. The project scope is centered around the full spectrum of Communication:

  • Radio and Backbone Communication

  • Wi-Fi on Board and in Stations

  • Various Detection Systems

  • CCTV & Access Control

  • Phone systems for Operator and Maintenance

What your day-to-day will look like:

Our Project Managers lead and drive successful execution with entire profit & loss responsibility. Your success will be measured on schedule achievement, customer success, and financial results.

  • Maintain constant and clear communication with customers, key suppliers, outside contractors, management, and other partners.

  • Drive overall project planning and decide on the allocation of resources.

  • Build and maintain project timeline. Align landmarks between the customer and internal partners.

  • Set delivery expectations with the customer - Raise potential delays early in the process and identify mitigation actions.

  • Drive schedule and deliverables with Engineering, Procurement, and Quality functions.

  • Initiate actions to minimize non-conformance costs and seize opportunities to improve project financials. Negotiate contract change orders and claims.

  • Align with PM standards and Business Conduct Guidelines.

To thrive in this role, you have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical) or industrial engineering

  • A minimum of 5-8 years in a related position

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification with a solid understanding of project management processes & tools

  • Experience in the communication ecosystem related to contractors, suppliers, and customers with skills and knowledge applicable to the business.

  • Extensive experience in managing sub-contractors and related contract management.

  • Extensive experience in close collaboration with international teams, colleagues from Sales, Procurement, Engineering, and leaders of subsidiary fields.

  • Control over multiple interfaces to civil, rolling stock, and another technical partners.

The base salary range for this position in Las Vegas, NV, is $107,500 - $145,000, and the annual incentive target is 10% of the base salary. The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
