Job Description:

Position Overview

As a member of Test Center, Test Engineer II will be involved in all phases of the fast paced product development lifecycle with a focus on developing test strategies, creating and executing test procedures and reports on the quality, maturity, and functionality of the product content to the Test Lead within the Systems Engineering System Test (SEST) department.

Responsibilities

Support requirements definition and Develop and maintain test strategies

§Contribute expert content from Service functional area

§ Insure clarity, testability of formal requirements and leveling test specifications

§ Coordinate cross functional input into test strategy

§ Draft acceptance criteria in coordination with requirement

Develop and maintain Test Strategies, Verification and Validation specification

§Insure accuracy, relevance, and completeness of specification

§Update specification with feedback from test execution

§ Coordinate cross functional input into test strategy

§Level test content across integration, verification, and validation

§Insure strategy content maps to release specifications

Execute informal and formal Verification and Validation

§Provide thorough and timely feedback to development team on issues

§Submit high-quality defects for all direct and incidental findings

§Perform validation of defects submitted by Test Center

Represent test team within project and organization

§Support issue elaboration and investigation at Defect Handling Board

§Support Hotcell(CT&PET) Troubleshooting

§Support expert assessment of quality within functional area to test lead

Required Knowledge/Skills and Experience

Communication: experience working within a large organization including offshore team

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with minimal supervision

Experience with the medical device industry, FDA 21 CFR Design Control and the V-model a plus

Experience with TFS and HP ALM a plus

2 years’ experience using Nuclear Medicine equipment is a plus.

Education

Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Physics or Nuclear Medicine Technology (or equivalent)

NMTCB or AART board certified is desired
