Job Description:

Job Summary

Siemens Financial Services is actively looking for a seasoned originator professional to join their Asset Finance ( AF ) team within the Industry and Healthcare Business Unit ( IHF ). The position is an originator role with focus on large ticket structured equipment lending (rail, marine, inter-modal, structured over-the-road, manufacturing and assembly lines) including equipment leasing for new and existing customers.

  • Generatevolume and revenue at or above target metrics in Asset Finance space relevanceto overall Siemens business and Siemens Industry and Healthcare space

  • Leveragecontacts in the banking and private equity communities.

  • Originate,structure, perform write-ups and Opportunity memos for each deal, workingclosely with Risk, Legal and other support functions.

Role Details:

To originate Siemens relevant finance transactions. Responsibilities to include:

  • Manage dealpipeline through use of CRM system including aging and staging of deals to meetcritical customer timing requirements and to manage internal capacity

  • Communicatebank calling efforts through central data repository

  • CompleteOpportunity memos and support underwriting analysis

  • Manageinterface with key contacts throughout the deal process (borrower, bank group,third party consultants, and private equity firms if applicable) to ensureaccess to all critical information

  • Participatewith risk team and inside / outside counsel in negotiation of all relevantdocumentation

  • Collaboratewith internal business partners (e.g. Risk, Legal, Ops, etc) to ensuretransactions are completed correctly and funded.

  • Develop, growand manage pipeline and backlog of business

  • Travel associated with this role can be up to 40-60%

  • Meet or exceedannual budgeted volume, EVA, margin, and profitability objectives associatedwith the assigned markets

  • Presentationof opportunities during prescreen and credit approval stages

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in finance, economics or salesmanagement preferred. MBA is a plus.

Experience

  • Minimum 10years large ticket Structured Asset Financeexperience

  • Proven abilityto originate and structure new business opportunities

  • Deep knowledge of structuring,transportation and manufacturing industry, and asset financing – rail, marine,inter-modal, structured over-the-road, manufacturing and assembly lines.

  • Excellent written and oral communicationskills and ability to work with tight deadlines.

  • Solid professional writing skills, particularly in preparation ofopportunity memos and relevant documents and announcements.
