Siemens Industry is looking for a Proposal Specialist/Bid Coordinator to support the Texas and Louisiana markets. This person will support the Sales team and distribution network in the aforementioned geography. This person will review requests from distribution, end customers and sales engineers as well as work with business unit personel. This person will report to the Sales Manager and work within the team of sales engineers and other bid coordinators.
• Distribute Bid List – Generate the bid list from PHILOS and send it to team as well as distribution partners.
• Manage PHILOS – Drive team to use the PHILOS and keep their opportunities updated. Keep all other information within PHILOS up to date.
• Bid Meetings – Schedule bid meetings per the manager’s instructions. Facilitate the meeting by reviewing the open PHILOS opportunities.
• Strive to bid over $4M in quotes in a given month in the first year.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Education:
Proposal creation/Bid Coordinator experience.
Excellent oral and written skills.
Ability to work in a team environment
College degree preferred
