Master Production Scheduler
Siemens Energy is looking for a Master Production Scheduler to join the team in our Houston, Texas location. The Master Production Scheduler will develop and
provide execution schedules to Proposal Development Engineering team considering all engineering development requirements, existing capacity constraints, and
projected future workload. This role will also establish delivery commitments based on provided schedules from Engineering, Procurement, and Production. Ideal
candidates will be able to develop and analyze capacity reports for use in planning and controlling of project execution schedule commitments. The Mast
Production Scheduler will report to the Manager of Configuration Management in the Product Development & Technology Department . The role requires
coordination and interaction across Proposals, Engineering, Procurement, Production, and Project Management domestically.
•Maintain knowledge of capacity constraints in all areas of engineering, procurement, and production to meet scheduled requirements
•Create and Maintain detailed project schedule templates product package lines
•Create and provide committed proposal specific schedules
•Determine and develop work breakdown structure for engineering activities using advanced ERP tools
•Analyze customer demand to determine critical path affecting execution
•Determine and report milestones to monitor progress and advise project management
•Review workload with appropriate operations management and suggest schedule or capacity adjustments based on workload, master schedules, and
•Establish and maintain status accounting procedure to ensure timely input of accepted planning and capacity recommendations
•Establish and maintain operation and training program for planners and conduct training as required for new users or updates to features and functions of
•Ensure highly disciplined level of data management
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
•BS/BA in Engineering, Operations Planning, Logistics, or a related discipline
•Minimum 5 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of key responsibilities and knowledge as presented above.
•Strong understanding of ERP tools and processes such as MRP, scheduling, manufacturing scheduling, and demand management.
•Demonstrated expertise in MS project or Primavera
The following attributes are a huge plus, but not required for the position:
•Experience in Power generation, Gas Compression, Rotating Equipment, or Process Automation
