Siemens ITS is seeking a Warehouse Manager for a multi-million dollar energy efficiency, conservation, and renewable technology project. This role will manage warehouse locations, inventory and equipment and coordinate with PM and project team as well as subcontractors and suppliers
Reports to Project Manager/Field Supervisor
Role and responsibilities:
The Warehouse Manager works closely with the Project Manager, Field Supervisor, Procurement Manager, Field Technicians, Subcontractors, Suppliers and Buyers. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for all warehouse locations and activities, including but not limited to, material movements between assigned storage locations and vehicles as well as to ensure smooth workflow and compliance with established procedures and protocols. The Warehouse Manager is fully responsible for all inventory and all warehouse discrepancies and write offs.
Detailed responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Functional responsibility for the proper management of assigned storage locations.
Keep a clean and well organized warehouse at all times. Keep all materials in proper location and marked accordingly with labels and quantity on hand balance; e.g. “inventory material, non-inventory material, project material, customer supplied material or non-conforming inventory material” , etc.
Proper management of local service and emergency inventory at assigned. Keep optimum amount of inventory value at all times via targeted ordering and also selling, scrapping and utilization of existing materials at other depots.
Establish and ensure appropriate re-order inventory levels for storage locations based on consumption, package size, lead time and pricing information and uploading and maintaining through SAP safety stock levels in the MRP view of the material master.
Establish, implement and management security installations and practices to avoid loss and/or indisposition of inventory assets during and after business hours.
Conduct monthly inventory counts.
Maintaining proper safety process and procedures of inventory locations, equipment, access to meet established safety regulations.
Support, perform and ensure proper SAP system transactions for ALL inventory movements from main stock, service vehicles and depot locations to ensure accuracy and proper count of inventory on hand at all times.
Work with Local Field Staff to train, establish and implement mandatory procedures for material transactions in and/or outside business hours.
Coordinate and handle warranty and repair material/equipment with subcontractors and suppliers and create appropriate documentation.
Implement system to effectively manage and track usage of Identified Tools and Expensive Field Equipment

5-8 years of experience in a similar role
Proficient computer skills, including SAP, MS Word, Excel, etc.
U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.
May be required to pass security clearance investigation.
May require on-call response and travel.
Key Working Relationships:
Contacts are primarily with immediate manager and others in the group. Sales, Customer Service (Operations Managers and Service Account Managers in particular), Product Life-Cycle Management, R&D, Project Management, Supply Chain management, and external contact with distributors and/or customers.
