Job Description:

Be a part of a technology-driven software team that develops data acquisition and hardware control components that are part of Molecular Imaging scanners

Responsibilities:

-Gain an understanding of the SPECT-CT/SPECT scanners - principle of operation, architecture, and technologies used

-Work closely with components that acquire data from gamma radiation detectors, and components that control complex mechatronics

-Participate in the design and prototyping of various higher level components and tools that co-ordinate hardware functions

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • Passion, interest and enthusiasm for software development

  • Strong interest in learning and using a broad set of software technologies

  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming (C++/C#) and Microsoft .Net Technologies (WCF/WPF)

  • Good communications and teamwork skills

Major: Computer Science, Software Engineer, Biomedical Engineer, and Electrical Engineer

Duration: 11 months to start in November, 2016
