The Advanced Therapy (AT) division of Siemens Healthineers is looking for outstanding candidates to participate in our Internship/Co-op program at our Hoffman Estates, IL facility. This department develops hemodynamic and electrophysiological recording systems for the Cardiac Catheterization lab.
This position is for the Winter 2018 timeframe (January - May)
Assist with the Development of software for Hemodynamic/Electrophysiology Recording Systems:
Write software applications (tools, utilities, prototypes) which support the main Sensis software application and related development processes.
Assists Systems Engineers with requirements documentation
Installation of production equivalent software on prototype systems
Engineering and integration level testing and debugging
Defect analysis and tracking.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
Candidates should have classroom knowledge or experience in the following areas:
Experience with C++, C#, and Visual Studio.
Experience with object-oriented methodologies and design tools
Problem solving skills & high motivation to solve problems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Excellent organizational skills
Experience troubleshooting in Windows operating system environment
Experience in Microsoft Office products is a plus.
Experience with SQL a plus.
Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering.
