Siemens Building Technologies is currently looking for a dynamic Sales Executive to help grow our Fire Alarm Solutions business in Fresno, CA. The Sales Executive will focus on new construction business selling to Electrical Contractors, General Contractors, and Consulting Engineers. This position may also include some Service Sales opportunities while working directly with our strategic accounts.

Under general supervision, manages and aggressively grows assigned territory or group of fire alarm and solutions accounts.
Achieves booking and gross margin goals.
Drives/coordinates new business across all product lines to meet objectives.
Team sells with other Salespeople as appropriate.
Develops and implements plans to take advantage of all sales opportunities for assigned customers or territory.
Effectively performs needs assessments, develops sales proposals, estimates, specifications and presentations.
Works with operations, finance, legal and other inside and outside resources as needed to obtain the sale.
Strategic Account Planning and Management
Introduce new fire systems product line to sales and top fire customers and end-users
Coordinate and present technical symposium’s to customers and end-users
Prepare extensive sales promotion campaigns for customers to promote product lines to Commercial markets
Prepares accurate and thorough sales activity reports, forecast reports and expense tracking.
Continues to pursue in-depth product and service knowledge and acquire deeper selling, technical and financial skills.
If focused on managing current accounts: Develops and deploys account strategies.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineer preferred (minimum education required is a High School Diploma, state-recognized GED, or state-recognized High School Proficiency Exam).
1-2 years of meeting and succeeding quotas of selling full fire alarm and integration products strongly preferred, although candidates with either industry related sales experience or entry-level candidates with strong sales capabilities will also be considered.
Effective communication skills in English to give presentations before a broad audience.
Hunter Sales mentality.
Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license in good standing; must meet eligibility requirements to drive a Siemens company vehicle.
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without the current or future need for sponsorship.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
Experience with Commercial Fire Alarm Systems strongly preferred.
Spin Selling preferred.
Training in fire alarm, electronics and system applications software preferred.
