Siemens Building Technologies is looking for an experienced Web & Mobile Developer. This person will design, develop, test, and maintain web and mobile applications that integrate with cloud-based systems of our fire solutions. The person will report to the Engineering Manager and have no direct reports.
Are you up for the challenge?
Design, develop, test, and maintain web and mobile applications.
Create proof of concepts for client consideration.
Research and recommend cutting-edge tools, frameworks and techniques.
Participate in the transition of technology solutions from investigation into product development.
Collaborate globally with IoT and cloud experts, UX analyst and product management to translate system architecture and product requirements into well implemented software components.
Analyze user requirements to determine feasibility of design.
Analyze, debug, and resolve software issues.
Participate in software design reviews, conduct peer code reviews, and provide input and feedback to other members of the development team.
Bachelor's degree in a system, electrical or software engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
Minimum of 3 years of experience building web and/or mobile solutions.
Expert in one or more programming languages.
Master’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
Hands-on experience with Ionic, Cordova.
Experience with Agile SW development processes and tools.
Experience working with mobile device technologies such as Bluetooth (LE), GPS, camera.
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, with attention to detail.
Ability to mentor other team members.
Proven track record of successfully designing, reviewing and delivering engineering systems.
