Siemens US Talent Acquisition
This high-level operations position will manage business operations for multiple key businesses in the energy and environmental markets including utility bill management, metering and reporting applications, environmental consulting, and energy supply consulting. Manages software design and product development; process standardization, definition and improvement; and reporting and data management. Provides operations and business support to management teams at national and local levels. Leads or advises on the management of operations strategic and tactical planning including resource development and allocation, financial forecasting, monitoring and reporting, and issue resolution. Manages key resources and strategic partners, who are integral to successfully delivering our solutions. Assists and provides recommendations to management on development and implementation of strategies aimed at increasing business growth and financial success; asset management, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction enhancements; and improving employee productivity, quality, and safety. Provides operations perspective business planning, staff planning, training development, account management, customer satisfaction, and achievement of SBT goals and objectives. Reports to management on operational activities taken to meet financial and customer service goals. Supports geographically disperse field operations. Sales and operations support to over 100 branch locations to help them understand the opportunity, sell, and deliver energy service solutions. Coordinate with local branch management and home office to ensure products and services are sold and delivered according to strict standards, and continually develop solutions that field resources require. Assists, guides, and improves operations functions in planning, organizing, directing, and controlling of project management, design engineering, and service activities. Special emphasis is on process standardization, quality, cost containment, new product introduction, resource management, financial accountability, customer satisfaction, and profitability. Coordinates and manages special projects with wide scope and impact. Coaches and counsels operations personnel and advises operations management on performance and development needs. Based on requirements and policies, mentors and supports operations teams and individuals with project management, process improvements, proposal uniformity, forecasting, estimating, monitoring and recovery planning. Attends selected filed or division operations/sales meetings. Maintains current knowledge of regulatory changes, laws, and financial options available in the market.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
Bachelors degree in engineering, or operations management, or related field required. Minimum ten years industry experience including operations management or comparable role including strategic planning, contracting, project management, account management and all aspects of general business management. Ability to implement organizational and process change in response to business needs. Required Skills: Strong communication skills, experience with MS Project or equivalent, energy background with CEM, LEED AP, and/or CEP Specialist accreditation desirable. Good decision making required, with the ability to look at a problem, break it down, and determine the optimal solutions to meet SBT business needs. Six Sigma experience desirable.
