Position Overview

Supervises the in- flow and out-flow of materials within the warehouse. Coordinates staff activities and functions to assure that daily objectives are met. Monitors, participates and may lead activities to assure that projects objectives are met.

Responsibilities

The Warehouse Supervisor will coordinate work flows within the warehouse environment to assure that objectives are met and to obtain optimum effectiveness. They must be familiar with all material handling functions within the warehouse, to include the receiving of material, warehouse material management and replenishment process as well as basic shipping fumctions.

They may evaluate and recommend changes in methods and or procedures in their area of responsibility . They may identify resource needs and may develop justification. They must have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems.

May lead projects and may have responsibility for the overall success of the project or function.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

· 2-5 years of successful experience in a directly related field and demonstration of successfully meeting the key responsibilities of the role.

· Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and expertise.

· Good organizational skills and communication skills, both oral and written.

· Demonstrated team leadership capabilities

· Energetic, self-starter, and works independently.

· Must have strong computer skills and experience with application software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and SAP

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

· Experience in Medical Device or other regulated environment
