Job Description:

The Software Product Analyst 3 is responsible for managing, supporting, and establishing processes for Siemens Remote Services (SRS) focused on communications user experiences, and trainings while monitoring and driving enhancements of Remote Service application with support from the users of the tools and applications related to Siemens Business Lines. This resource will also provide, develop and communicate ongoing activities related to Siemens Remote Services through many cross functional tools. They will coordinate process support for communications, SRS related functional surveys, and other areas for product, application & process improvements to supply either value based, cost plus or market pricing for all Remote Services.


-Responsible for managing and maintaining good relationships with internal customers of Siemens Remote Services (SRS) (25%)

-Support the SRS Service Owner(s) from communication perspective towards business lines / areas, countries and specific stakeholders (15%)

-Define, implement and improve internal communication strategy for SRS (15%)

-Maintain internal communication methods of SRS (e.g. intranet sites, team space, newsletters, social media channels, forum, etc.) (15%)

-Coordinate development of service-related SRS trainings

-Administrate PLM documentation related tools

-Work as a upstream for the SRS Service Owner(s) and the Service Owner Board for some Business Lines/Areas, Countries or specific Stakeholders

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

-BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification may be required in some areas.

-Ability to work with and lead Project teams with cross-functional responsibilities, without direct managerial supervision

-Good knowledge of the SRS Service portfolio and processes

  • Good knowledge of Siemens Healthineers Business Lines (US, LD, POC, DI, SY)

  • Technical overview and knowledge of SRS component functions and relations

-Technical affinity and capability to accumulate needed and new knowledge

  • Some IT Network technology knowledge

  • Knowledge of CS processes and interfaces with them

  • MS Windows OS and Office knowledge

  • Result and Quality Orientation

  • Analytical and methodical skills

-6-8 years Computer Experience-

  • 4-6 Project Management Experience

  • 2-4 years Communications Experience

  • 2-3 Years Computer Networking Experience

-Provides specialized guidance to train support and/or professional staff

-Leadership qualities and role model qualities demonstrated

-Team oriented

  • Flexible for travelling (Erlangen, Germany - CS SLM SRS HQ)

  • Engage CS, HC IT, BU, and country leadership on KPIs

-Strong Customer Orientation


Job Family Responsibilities:

Guides long range planning, reviews costs, and prepares annual budgets for review by management. Guides very complex project coordination and information support for new strategy development on assigned projects. Guides very complex market and business research and competitor analysis. Develops very complex analysis and evaluation of Siemens Strategic Business Segments, potential acquisition/joint venture candidates and prepares project proposals. Guides very complex due diligence of acquisition candidates from company perspective. Develops very complex strategic planning tools for the Company. Performs very complex strategic database management, design and related outside vendor/internal supplier activity coordination. Reviews monthly corporate, subsidiary and consolidated forecasts for reasonableness and continuity with the budget, actual year-to-date results and prior forecasts. May guide execution of Merger and Acquisition services.


BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification may be required in some areas.

Knowledge and Experience:

Demonstrates and applies comprehensive knowledge of field of specialization to the successful completion of complex assignments. Demonstrates advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization. Demonstrates significant knowledge of organization's business practices and issues faced and contributes to problem resolution of those issues. Typically 8-10 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above. Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable.
