Job Family Responsibilities:
•Guides account team to achieve business objectives (for example, penetration of account with product/solution/service offerings)
•Develops and manage target accounts to achieve assigned sales quotas
•Leverages Siemens global reach to influence decisions on projects for delivery to the customer in the US, or purchased by the customer in the US
•Responsible for the development and execution of strategic account plans and forecasting opportunities
•Develops / builds / cultivates long-term relationships with C levels and key management within the machine tool customer base
•Drives account opportunities to increase forecast pipeline
•Responsible for coordinating and driving account initiatives with account team
•Leads team reviews and updates of account plan based on changing market, customer conditions, and competitive activity
Performs advanced areas of work for the professional field.
Applies advanced skills to resolve complex problems not covered by existing procedures or practices independently.
Displays a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high-impact, complex, and/or cross-functional problems
Coordinates account planning with internal and international teams
Typically BS/BA in related discipline or advanced degree. Mechanical, Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering degree preferred. Certification may be required in some areas.
Knowledge and Experience:
Demonstrates and applies comprehensive knowledge of machine tools and controls.
Demonstrates advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, and utilization of Manufacturing Digitalization.
Demonstrates problem solving skills and applies best practices in addressing customer requirements and issues.
Typically 8-10 years of successful sales experience preferably in the Machine Tool Industry. Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable.
