TITLE: Account Manager, Aftermarket Services

COMPANY: Siemens Industry, Inc.

DUTIES: Responsible for formulating and executing business plans to penetrate and grow industrial accounts in the California, Washington, Oregon, Arizona and New Mexico marketplace. Focused on standard mechanical drives (gearboxes), specialty mechanical drives, couplings and may additionally include geared motors, low/medium voltage motors and low/medium voltage electrical drives as incorporated in integrated drive solutions. Develop and implement plans for strategic accounts that exceed expectations in revenue retention/growth, account profitability, and customer satisfaction/loyalty. Pursue long-term account strategy that maximizes profits. Collaborate with channel partners to achieve goals. Assist in cultivating long-term relationships with the appropriate key account decision makers. Develop a complete understanding of the organization's structure and key buying influences of assigned account. Perform client presentations articulating the value proposition of product / solution / service offerings. Provide management with suggestions for improving volume, market share and price levels. Develop forecasts, budgets and operating plans for responsible market.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or an acceptable alternate occupation. Must have 2 years of experience in the following skills: Power transmission, Drive Systems, Mechanical Drives; experience working with OEMs, End Users and channel partners in the cement, mining or marine industries; knowledge of customers and competitors within the cement, mining or marine industries; track record of success selling Aftermarket products and services; experience working with a multi-level, global organization. Approximately 75% travel required. Telecommuting permitted when not at customer sites.
