Job Description:

Financial Analyst 2 - Productivity

This position reports to the Senior Director – Productivity Controlling for the Business Area Lab Diagnostics (LD) within Siemens Healthcare.

The position is responsible for LD productivity reporting and analysis. Activities include monthly reporting and analysis, productivity system administration, oversee work performed by the RDC, assist in analyzing results to understand performance against targets and potential gaps. Assesses reporting requirements and tools for improvements. Compiles and reviews financial plans and budgets.

The ideal candidate should be extremely detail oriented, but able to synthesize complex topics for consumption by both executive management and colleagues.

  • Financial Statement Analysis: deep knowledge of all financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow Statement) and interactions between the different statements.

  • Able to synthesize large amounts of data to discern key items.

  • Reporting: Expert excel skills (Pivot Tables / Formulas / Functions), VBA and experience with other reporting tools. Track record of creating compelling reports that produce transparency around business operations.

  • Variance Analysis: able to identify relevant KPIs, track performance and identify areas for remediation.

  • Understanding of multiple currencies and related impacts.

  • Presentations: Preparation of monthly presentations.

  • Leadership Qualities: comfortable in network organization and able to influence colleagues.

Creative and Independent Thinker: adept at executing tasks with directional guidance and minimal tactical interventions. Hands-on approach to solving tactical problems
