Job Description:

DEPARTMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Translate product specifications for batch manufacturing into process requirements; identify all process inputs/outputs; compose functional requirements; verify performance against process requirements; validate performance against product specifications.

  • Understand cause & effect relationships between process parameters and product performance; identify critical to quality (CTQ) process parameters; identify potential process failure modes & implement risk mitigation's.

  • Deliver process solutions across multiple manufacturing sites (requiring international travel) for equipment cleaning at an industrial level within FDA regulated GMP manufacturing facilities; identify methods for cleaning from bench scale to large industrial equipment; implement processes that will meet tight specifications and can be verified/validated against functional requirements.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Strong practical manufacturing experience in plant operations from previous experience in plant leadership roles.

  • Experience leading complex process and equipment projects utilizing cross-functional teams

  • Strong competence in Six Sigma; Lean; Continuous Improvement tools

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience in Pharmaceutical or Biologics industry

  • Subject Matter Expert in Cleaning (Tanks, Parts Washers, etc.)

  • Experience in Validation writing and execution

  • Experience with FMEA/Risk Analysis development

  • Bilingual Mandarin/English

EDUCATION:

  • Chemical Engineering or BioChemical Engineering
