The business comprises a comprehensive portfolio in mail & parcel logistics and automation, airport logistics with baggage handling and air cargo, as well as service offerings supporting our customers with maintenance, operation and optimization. Our customers are airports & airlines, courier express parcel providers, the US Postal Service and commercial postal service providers.
Comprehensive financial responsibility for management of projects in close cooperation with project manager
Perform project cost controlling, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, and risk management activities
Monitor project key performance indicators and work with project team in determining and implementing performance improvements
Prepare project Estimate-At-Completion (EAC) reports
Optimize project cash flow by ensuring timely customer billings are released and payments are received
Perform project month end close activities – ensure project revenue and expenditures for the period are valid, and necessary cost accruals are recorded
Participate in monthly Project Review meetings
Setup and maintain project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) as required to ensure proper segregation of project tasks and costs in SAP business system
Support processing of project purchase orders -- validation to project budget and proper coding to GL accounts and WBS
Prepare project pricing in support of initial contract offerings and/or change order opportunities
Perform contract reviews to ensure reasonableness of financial terms & conditions
Ensures compliance with fiscal, business legal and commercial regulations
Troubleshoots and resolves problems within multi-departments and/or cross-functional areas
3-5 years of experience working in project finance / controlling related position(s)
Bachelor's degree in finance-related field; MBA (a plus)
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Demonstrate ability to work cross-functionally within an organization as well as experience in working directly with the end customer
Intermediate to advanced level skills using MS Office suite (with emphasis on MS EXCEL)
SAP and SAP Business Warehouse experience (a plus)
Project Management Certified (a plus)
