Job Description:

Position Overview:

In this position you will be working directly with the Healthcare NAM Laboratory Diagnostics senior management team. Responsible for tracking progress and providing methodological support to different strategic work streams driven by senior management. Regular exposure to executive level providing a high level of collaboration and strong execution.

The Project Management Director is an individual contributor position and reports to the Regional Business Leader for Laboratory Diagnostics.

Responsibilities

  • Tracking progress and providing methodological support to different strategic work streams driven by senior management.

  • Developing strategic initiatives including internal efforts and external partnerships/alliances

  • Running large projects, designing and directing programs tied to the Laboratory Diagnostics organization’s strategic objectives.

  • Creates project management templates (Gantt charts, Status sheets, Hoshin Kanri tool, etc.)

  • Tracks progress toward agreed upon deadlines

  • Facilitates cross work-stream collaboration

  • Responsible for compiling of organization KPI’s, defining trends, providing analysis and reporting.

  • Provides a high level of collaboration and strong execution on deliverables.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • 8-10 years’ experience working in a Sales/Marketing Strategy or Project management role; BS/BA in related discipline, MBA, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience running large projects, and designing and directing programs.

  • High level of collaboration and strong execution skills are required.

  • Experience working with Gantt charts, Status sheets, Hoshin Kanri and/or similar tools.

  • Strong computer skills including PowerPoint and Excel.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Experience supporting a Healthcare Sales & Service organization

  • Knowledge of the medical industry, laboratory diagnostics business in particular a plus

  • Experience working with executive leadership teams

  • Experience working in consulting companies and consulting projects desired
