Job Description:

The Boston Branch is hiring a Services Sales Rep dedicated to growing the Service business within the State of Rhode Island. The primary duties and responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the following:

  • Account Management responsibility for existing BT Automation footprint

  • Automation Products and software account plans

  • Deployment of Building Technologies Digital Services platform

  • Maintain and grow existing Service Agreement base

  • Expanding BT footprints through Energy, Mechanical and Electrical Services as well as Fire and Security products and services sales.

  • Increase BT’s Net Promoter Score within the Rhode Island market

  • New customer acquisition with in the RI territory

  • Lead with Mechanical/Commissioning/Energy discussion to introduce Siemens Building Technologies to new potential customers in RI

  • Deliver current budget obligations and support future growth by maintaining sufficient funnel of opportunities

  • Provide expert advice and lead in the participation and development of BT branding in the existing building market

  • Lead in the development of relationships with the local utility providers and enablers with a focus on:

  • Each utilities organization and structure (specifically on individuals with decision making authority)

  • Budgets/targets, goals and programs specifics associated with energy efficiency programs

  • Mapping of incentive programs to BT deliverables

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Green Economy in Rhode Island

  • Deploy methodologies and tools to ensure consistent high quality delivery of Energy Services and other value added services

  • Business development orientation, with an emphasis on helping the team win work

  • Able to develop scopes of work, budgets, estimates and proposal for Service Agreements and Projects

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field preferred, however, candidates with a combination of education (a High School Diploma or GED Equivalency is a minimum requirement) and directly related industry sales experience will also be considered.

  • At least 5+ years related sales experience within the building automation/fire/security/energy efficiency industry.

  • Must be at least 21 year’s old with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record to be eligible to participate in the Siemens Vehicle Program.
