We are looking for an enthusiastic Technical Instructor to educate customers in a highly technological field diversified with manufacturing/engineering practices and enterprise software applications.
As a Technical Instructor, you will work with a team of other instructors to develop and deliver technical educational programs; as well as, helping others to develop skills that will aid them in becoming more knowledgeable professionals in the field.
Technical Instructors must be extremely knowledgeable in their field of expertise, and possess a solid technical aptitude as well as an ability to convey that knowledge to others.
Additionally, as a Technical Instructor, we expect a high aptitude for communication, able to explain complex subjects in a clear and interesting manner.
The goal, of a Technical Instructor, is to contribute to the development of the customer’s skills to meet their organizational needs.
Technical Instructors utilize a range of development and delivery methods to meet our customer’s educational needs. Personnel within this role utilize a combination of excellent presentation skills, and a high level of expertise on the subject to deliver quality educational programs to our customers.
Develop and instruct classes on Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software from Siemens PLM Software, primarily utilizing Teamcenter
Collaborate to enhance courses by leveraging individual and industry experience
Continuously enhance technical instructional delivery and presentation skills
Collaborate with other instructors with regards to subject matter, content, and course delivery techniques for assigned technical courses.
Apply proven subject matter expertise to solve technical problem s that may be ambiguous and undefined; create information for large and complex or technically challenging projects
Experience in courseware design/architecture development.
Development experience, working with data source control management systems and an understanding of the development pipeline to deployment.
Experience installing an enterprise software and architecture.
Some exposure to Java, C++, or C programming languages.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Information Systems, or related design/technology field; or equivalent work experience
Successful candidate must be willing to travel as much as 40% of the year
Prior teaching/mentoring experience strongly desired
Successful candidate must be articulate and comfortable speaking in front of groups
2 years’ experience configuring enterprise (PLM) software applications
Experience with XML / CSS formatting languages.
An understanding of object oriented programming fundamentals.
