Join our Smart Infrastructure Regional Solutions & Services Business Unit as Sales Manager- EPC & Infrastructure Vertical and help us re-imagine the world by finding solutions and making the world a smarter place for tomorrow.

We are looking for an 6 – 12 years of experienced and dedicated Sales Manager responsible for South Region based out of Chennai to handle EPC customers and Infrastructure Vertical who is ready to make an impact.

GENERAL ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Contacts the customer to substantiate (confirm) the lead, identify requirements based on the Vertical Assigned (EPC / Infra)

• Identify New leads and Opportunities in EPC / Infra Vertical in South Region (Tamilnadu)

• Identify and Specify key jobs with Consultant / Architect for future projects in the region.

• Attain the Branch wise assigned Individual Sales Target.

• Input all Information into Sales funnel, Update the SieSales Tool and the Sales Process Tool.

• Completes a Go/No Go decision for each project.

• Takes the assistance of the Finance Team to obtain a credit rating of the Customer and observations in tender conditions.

• Performs Damex check, identifies risk and Opportunities and then evaluates and summarize and present to Regional Management for Approval.

• Perform Bid/No Bid and updates sales tool, bid preparation, Records Bid Decision in MOM

• Updates the Sales tool and the LoA Tool depending on the value.

• Takes Legal opinion from Legal team and uses information during the LoA Meeting (if applicable)

• Prepare, Update & Review Project Costing on sales tool with support from design estimation team and decides the price to be Quoted to the customer

• Evaluates Project risks, perform AC (anti-corruption) risk Assessment.

• Product and Solution Security (PSS ) Initiative to check IT security of systems provided to customer.

• Comply to above Siemens Bid Approval process including risk evaluation to the satisfaction of the internal and external stakeholders

• Analyze customers’ requirements and project backgrounds in order to better judge on aspects of products and solutions to be used

• Submits bid package to tender agency or customer before deadline and update the Sales Funnel and LoA Tool.

• Promote Siemens Products and Solutions

• Lead technical discussions on Solution proposed with Customers and Consultants

• Prepare Negotiation Strategy anticipating the contractual needs of the Customer.

• Attends the negotiation meetings and understands the exact contractual requirement of the customer. Obtain agreement on contract from customer.

• Invite & conduct hand over meeting and handover binder to Project Manager for verification.

• Compile Handover Documents to Projects for execution.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Good knowledge and sales experience in IBMS, Safety and Security Solution

• Knowledge in Design operations & Experience in Selling Products & Solutions to Critical Infrastructure Projects and to EPC Customers would be added advantage.

• Highly motivated self-starter, capable of adapting to new and emerging technologies and products

• Have successful track record in sales and marketing in Buildings and Industries.

• Self-motivated flexible individual with the ability to work well within a dynamic environment

• Proven communication, public speaking, and presentation skills

• Excellent methodical organizational and documentation skills

• Good team-worker, able to collaborate within a diverse team

• Knowledge of Siemens PLC (Simatic Controller family, RIO’s, SCADA (Wincc, TIA, Desigo CC) etc. Network Components, Cyber security etc would also be an added advantage.
