Siemens US Talent Acquisition
Central Support Services (CSS) at the Charlotte campus is responsible for the controlling, reporting, and optimization of CSS related activities (warehouse, transportation, facilities, maintenance, quality control... ) along with each CSS function lead. The CSS organization exists to provide campus wide services to the Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, and Generator product lines located on the Charlotte campus.
As a Financial Analyst this position is involved with:
o Support activities of the CSS Technical Managers
o Cost Center Controlling.
o Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
o Income Statement Analysis.
o Annual Budgeting Process.
o Forecast Reporting.
o Data Consolidation & Reporting.
o Journal Entry Preparation.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERENCE:
o Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
o 2 to 5 progressive work experience in a global finance environment.
o Experienced with Cost Center Controlling and Performance Analysis.
o Experienced operating in a complex internal customer environment.
o Experienced with IFRS and GAAP.
o Well developed communications skills; able to clearly and concisely express information (or data) to non financial associates, peers and management.
o Skills utilizing personal computers and application software, including Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
o Self-driven and resourceful to achieve goals independently as well as work well in matrix groups.
o Attention to detail with appreciation for the importance of ensuring accuracy in all levels of financial reporting.
o Flexibility to adjust and thrive in an environment with changing requirements, schedules and priorities for multiple projects or assignments.

DESIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
o Experience using SAP
o Prior experience using Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines.
