Job Description:

The Director of Field Planning and Reporting will be responsible for managing the planning and reporting team to ensure management has full transparency and data for the field organization.

  • Responsible for the forecasting & budgeting process for the Field organization.

  • Manage the Commissions team that ensures we pay our sales people timely and accurately.

  • Oversee the Asset Management team that drives cash collection for BT, billing in a favorable position and overall cash management.

  • Work with IT and other teams to develop process improvements and manage IT projects.

  • Escalation point for field when issues arise.

  • Recommends courses of action related to financial performance.

  • Directs staffing and budgetary requirements to ensure organization’s effectiveness.

  • Close cooperation with Field organization ensuring execution according to targets and interface to global segment organization. Education: BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification may be required in some areas. Knowledge and Experience: Demonstrates and applies advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures for area managed and good knowledge of other areas in the company and how they interact. Demonstrates full understanding and application of management approaches for work direction, motivation, and performance management. Typically 10+ years of successful experience in a directly related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above. Prior Siemens leadership/ supervisory experience in business finance and controlling preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and leadership skills to interact with multiple management levels. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and the Internet. Ability to multi-task and independently anticipate potential issues and take actions to resolve them accordingly.
