Water is a critical element in offshore, onshore, upstream and downstream activities within the oil and gas industry. Siemens Water Solutions addresses water and waste water needs of the industry with a portfolio that includes physical and chemical separation, biological treatment, and complex hydrothermal technologies. We are looking for professional, talented individuals to help us address the needs of our oil and gas industry customers, now and in the future.
Ability to work a flexible work schedule is a must, along with the ability to analyze and resolve problems independently and efficiently. Ideal candidates will provide excellent service to our customers, have the ability to work in stressful, dangerous situations, and participate in the development of new field procedures and best practices.
Individuals are subject to call-out service 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. Typically personnel are assigned to work 1 of 2, 12 hour shifts when offshore on a project. Work is typically planned numerous days in advance prior to equipment and personnel being transported to various offshore facilities.
Requirements for the position are:
-2+ years of offshore experience
-Individual must receive or possess training for working offshore in the petroleum industry that consist of rigging equipment, water survival techniques (Boats & Helicopters), personal protective equipment training, offshore production safety systems training.
-Physically and mentally able to work suspended from heights and in confined spaces
-Flexible travel schedule
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Must meet body weight restrictions of 260 lbs or less as required by the equipment safety regulations
-Must have clean driving record and pass pre-hire drug screening
Preference given to those candidates with
-5+ years of offshore experience.
