Job Description:

The Regional Service Manager is responsible for managing the healthcare imaging and clinical products service business by directing, coordinating and leading the organization and its activities to meet customer service expectations and financial metrics. The Regional Service Manager reports to the Sr. Director, Field Engineering.

Core Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage the Siemens Service business in the assigned Area.

• Ensure that customers receive optimum levels of service and maintain high levels of customer

satisfaction with Siemens — based on the Value Proposition.

• Personnel Management and Development: Hire and develop CSE’s and manage their activities to meet

area goals.

• Prioritize customer and business objectives to provide clear direction to CSE’s

• Administrative/Other Tasks: Conduct administrative/other tasks that are required of the position, that support Siemens, Service, and the assigned Zone.

• Manage business and resources to meet all Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) of the business for your

position.

• Develop long term value based relationships with key and assigned accounts

• Provide additional escalation support to ensure key account issues are resolved

• Develop proactive account plans to prevent or predict issues

• Provide continues communication across organization touch points for key accounts

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

•8+ years of successful experience in a directly related field and successful demonstration of key

responsibilities and knowledge as presented above

• Minimum of 3-5 years previous field service

• Excellent organizational skills

• Superior communication skills (written and oral) and ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at many levels within the organization

• Effectively present information to co-workers and employee groups, including upper management,

customers at various levels and public representatives

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal

documents

• Ability to thrive as a member of a collaborative, cross-functional team

• Competent knowledge of MS Office applications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record over the last three years.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

• Past experience in managing large remote employee based territory

• Ability to articulate and explain value of Service Agreement offerings

• Working knowledge of SAP or experience with equivalent enterprise service software solution

• Basic knowledge of the Diagnostics Instruments or equivalent diagnostic industry experience

• Working knowledge of laboratory workflow

• Working knowledge of SAP or experience with equivalent enterprise service software solution

• Basic presentation skills including facilitation of projects, discussions with direct reports, and

collaborating across the organization General Requirements: Job Family Responsibilities:

Develops and implements training and service programs to educate customers and staff in the proper operation and maintenance of products. Guides the preparation and maintenance of quality and safety certifications. Guides very complex conflict resolution for internal and external conflicts. Performs in the negotiations of maintenance and service agreements and guide their execution. Develops recommendations for modifications or improvements to assure optimum efficiency of products/equipment.

Education:

BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification may be required in some areas.

Knowledge and Experience:

Demonstrates and applies advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures for area managed and basic knowledge of other areas in the company and how they interact. Demonstrates understanding and application of management approaches for work direction, motivation, performance management, and disciplinary action.Typically 8+ years of successful experience in a directly related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.

Typically manages multiple levels of exempt employees and/or supervisors.

Key Working Relationships:

Frequent inter-organizational and external contacts.
