What will be your role?

  • Building, configuring, and deploying Web applications and services in cloud and on-premises environments.

  • Integrating various services (databases, storage, APIs) into web applications.

  • Automating processes and optimizing workflows using CI/CD pipelines.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.

  • Monitoring and troubleshooting OpenShift environments, ensuring high availability and scalability.

  • Configuring, maintaining, and monitoring infrastructure management tools to ensure maximum availability, reliability, and security.

  • Staying up to date on emerging DevOps trends, technologies, and tools.

  • Working closely with Data Scientists and Data Engineers.

  • Active participation in scrum engagements.

What we are looking for:

  • 5+ years’ experience in DevOps or similar role.

  • Strong understanding of and experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift and Linux.

  • Hands-on experience of Linux environment and networking.

  • Experience with automation: Docker, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible.

  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Python) and CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins).

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premise infrastructure.

  • Understanding of virtualized infrastructure (VMs, software defined networks, software defined storage).

  • Understanding of distributed systems and web architectures design principles.

It will be nice if you have:

  • Experience with monitoring and logging: Opensearch, Prometheus, Splunk, Logstash, Newrelic.

  • Familiarity with SQL, NoSQL databases, DWH and Knowledge graph.

  • Familiarity with Elasticsearch.

  • Experience with event driven solutions, components, and architecture.

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language is a plus.

Additional Skills and Qualities:

  • Familiar with agile methodology.

  • Result-oriented with a good understanding for quality and maintainability.

  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in international teams.

  • A team player with strong English communication skills, focusing on what brings value, eager to drive change by taking the initiative and caring for an open and friendly atmosphere.
