Job Description:

Siemens is seeking a Summer Intern for the Industrial Sales Development Program.

  • Understanding the rich history of Siemens and the Siemens values

  • Learning about our business units

  • Learning about the industry/channel/market

  • Training on core selling skills and proven methodologies

  • Learning key sales processes and tools

  • Developing professional skills and capabilities

  • Participants who complete the internship program will be considered for the Sales Development Program.

Responsibilities

  • Complete projects involving increasing market share and generating revenue in the sales organization.

  • Gain exposure to selling process, Siemens solutions and customers Understand the selling role in order to determine if the Siemens Sales training program is the right fit for you upon graduation.

  • Complete work assignments accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Develop positive working relationships with peers, coworkers and management.

  • Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills .

To apply for the Sales Development Program Internship, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Majors: Industrial/System Engineering, Industrial Distribution, Business Management , Management/Marketing/Sales with prior technical or similar degree

  • Education: Current junior or senior undergraduate students pursuing a BA from an accredited technical school, college or university

  • Availability: Ability to work 40 hours per week from May to August

Minimum GPA: 3.0

  • Must have an interest in Sales

  • Relocation and Travel: Must be willing to relocate and travel as required by program

  • Work Authorization: Permanent work authorization in the U.S. is required
