Job Description:

Manufacturing Buyer -Planner Responsibilities, Metrics, and Competencies

Areas of Responsibility

  • Ensure material availability for production and customer requirements - Scheduling warehouse and production activity

  • Develop and implement material strategies to optimize inventory (Plan for every part)

  • Production order management, (PAC) with area supervisor as resource management partner

  • Continuous improvement, waste reduction

  • Capacity planning and order scheduling

  • Initiates and manages purchase orders to ensure on time delivery of material

  • Manages suppliers performance with respect to pricing, quality, lead times, and DR with coordination from SQE’s and Strategic Procurement

  • Secures and analyzes quotations, negotiates prices and terms with
